Refund policy

EdgePro braces come with a 12 month (1 year) warranty against manufacturing defects. Returns are accepted for defective product only. We do not accept change of mind returns, and we cannot accept the return of any product that has been used, unless it is defective and returned in accordance with the claim procedure below.

Australian Consumer Law

Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the products repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. This warranty is given in addition to other rights and remedies of the consumer under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies the application of any provision, the exercise of any right, or the imposition of any liability under any statute, including the Australian Consumer Law.

What is covered

If a product, when used in accordance with the Instructions For Use published on this website, fails due to defective manufacture within 12 months of purchase, we will replace it at no additional cost. If the product is found, upon inspection by us, to be defective and covered by our warranty, we will arrange a replacement or refund (as applicable), normally within 7 working days of receipt of the product; this may take longer in some cases.

What is not covered

  • Change of mind: you received what you asked for but changed your mind, found it cheaper elsewhere, decided you did not like the purchase or had no use for it
  • Product that has been used, unless it is defective and returned per the claim procedure below
  • Damage caused by wear and tear, abuse, misuse or accidental impacts with a harder object
  • Product that has been modified or altered, or is missing components
  • Failure due to non-compliance with the product Instructions For Use
  • Product that, though damaged, is still intact, serviceable and capable of performing its intended function, and is not defective
  • Deflection: the product may deflect slightly under heavy or over stress situations; the warranty does not cover deflection, only breakages
  • Claims without proof of purchase, claims where you knew of the defects before purchase, or claims by anyone other than the original owner

How to make a claim

Email sales@edgeproformwork.com.au with your proof of purchase, details of the defect or damage, and photos from when the incident occurred along with proof of correct usage per the product instructions.

If your claim is approved, re-pack the entire product ready for shipping and return it to Edgepro Formwork Solutions, PO Box 5214 Q Supercentre, Mermaid Waters QLD 4218.

Freight on returns

We refund your return freight costs, and the freight costs included on your original invoice, only where the product is covered by our warranty and returned per the claim procedure, or the return is due to an error on our part, less the freight costs of sending the replacement product. We do not refund freight costs where the returned product is not covered by our warranty or the claim procedure was not followed. If we send a replacement product and your original freight costs have already been refunded, the freight for sending the replacement will be charged separately.
